Music is in my soul… There is hardly a time that you will find me NOT whistling a happy tune or singing at the top of my lungs while dancing around my kitchen. Am I the only one that does this?? Maybe you should try it some time! I think it is quite therapeutic 🙂
Because I love music so much, I am always excited when I discover new music to add to my favorites list. Jesus Culture’s “Home” by Kim Walker-Smith and Skyler Smith is definitely a CD that I enjoy listening to!
This worshipful, modern folk-pop CD is uplifting and encouraging. I love the sound of the music behind the lyrics, and the lyrics themselves invoke a desire to worship my Savior. I am a huge believer that what you put in WILL come out, so I try to fill my heart and mind with music that will glorify my Savior and uplift others.
“Home” reminds me that this world is NOT my home. It helps keep me focused on my heavenly home. One day, I will have a mansion built in glory land because I have put my trust in Jesus.
I truly believe that “Home” is where the heart is… and I want my heart to be fixed on Jesus. With Him, I know that my future is secure and that He is waiting for me to come “Home.”
