Jonas Paul Eyewear was created after Ben and Laura Harrison’s son Jonas was born with a rare eye disease called Peter’s Anomaly. After fighting for his life, Jonas has endured many surgeries and his sight is severely limited. The Harrison’s have turned their son’s disability into hope and soon started Jonas Paul Eyewear. Watch their beautiful story here.
My favorite part about ordering from Jonas Paul is the free home try-on kit. It’s nearly impossible to know how glasses are going to fit when you order online–especially for kids. Jonas Paul makes it easy by sending a kit right to you. I ordered the small kit since my son just turned seven and he was able to try on the six styles available and make a selection. I took a picture of him in the glasses and then he was able to look through and decide what he liked. We even posted a few on Facebook to ask for help making the decision! We had seven days to try out the glasses and make a decision {and there is free shipping and return shipping–so it really is FREE}! One pair seemed a little big for his small face, but he was happy with the rest and finally decided on The Jonas in tortoise. I know I’m his mom, but these glasses are SO cute on him! He’s thrilled and that makes me thrilled! Did I mention that frames plus prescription lenses start at just $99?
Jonas Paul Eyewear does more than just help kids feel confident and stylish in their glasses. They also support CBM International through their Buy Sight, Give Sight program. For every pair of Jonas Paul frames purchased, a donation is made to bring vision to a person in need through corrective lenses or surgery. Jonas Paul Eyewear is helping share sight with those who need it most.

April 15, 2015 at 8:25 amMy daughter had to wear glasses from the time she was 4 years old. It was not easy shopping for glassess back then. It is nice they have a kit for you to try the glasses on at home.
