When I first saw the Joovy Spoon, I wasn’t sure it was necessary. I mean, after all, Preslee is our 3rd and she has the other two to keep her company. It wasn’t until we got in our new home that I realized this was a blessing in disguise. And now I realize, that anyone that has a little one that can fit in here absolutely needs this! Keep reading to hear why I think it’s true…
You see, our new home has stairs…something our previous home didn’t have. Why is this news? Well, Preslee is crawling and soon to be walking. Being a mom of more than one, I am very busy fulfilling all the needs of the other little ladies too.
I am going to do something a little different in this review. I am going to bullet point what I love instead of paragraphs – because there are just too many good things about this. So…on with it:
- Very compact. Like, so compact that you fold it up and store it. We store it in a closet as well as next to a chair when it’s not in use or I feel like tidying up the room.
- There are wheels on the bottom which help her move around! When she first started, she was only going backwards. I thought it was silly and she thought it was extraordinary because she was getting places to see new things!
- Very simple to set up. Pretty much, take it out of the box, fix the seat and wheels and your baby is up and going.
- Very much like a high chair – and an inexpensive one at that! We have fed her in here and in addition, she plays in here. A two-fer! 🙂
- There are 4 colors to choose from in case you want it to match your decor.
- Clean up is super simple too. There aren’t all these cracks and crevices that food can get in to (if you choose to use this for snack/meal time).
- The tray is massive. Like massive. Enough for tons of toys for loads of entertainment, you know, until they start dropping them off the side…because that’s fun for babies 🙂
- It grows with your baby – different height adjustments and such.
- Preslee also crawls up to this and plays like a table top too.
All in all, the Joovy Spoon is such a great product. And at the price point, a very reasonable product too in my opinion!
I shouldn’t have to say this, but I am going to. Use common sense. Don’t put this by the stairs or doorways that the baby can go down or through. It has wheels. The baby will move in it. Just us caution and read the directions please 🙂
