I have always considered myself a “crafty” person. I absolutely LOVE all forms of art. From drawing, to decorating, to making play dough sculptures with my two year old, I enjoy it all! Anything that allows me to get my creative juices flowing and get my hands dirty… that’s my idea of fun.
Recently I started hearing from several of my adult friends that they have picked up a new hobby… coloring! I kind of laughed at first because I thought, “This is something I do with my two year old in a Thomas the Train coloring book.” All I could picture were fat Crayola markers and big boring coloring pages filled with little kid pictures. The more I started seeing what my mommy-friends were coloring though, the more I was intrigued!!
Fast forward several months and here I am sitting with my first coloring book on my lap, and let me just say… I REALLY enjoy it!!
