keeping it safe with case logic :: review

Case Logic logoRecently I finished a long and drawn out saga to finding some technical hardware solutions for myself. After finally settling on an iPad Air I knew one of the first accessories I needed was a good case. Lucky me that I got to try out the new SnapView 2.0 Case for iPad Air from Case Logic!

Now, I’ve seen some other cases from Case Logic competitors that have some of the features that the SnapView 2.0 Case for iPad Air has, but I haven’t seen a case with all of the features I love about the SnapView 2.0 Case for iPad Air.

ergonomic typing incline

I debate on whether this should be first or last, but I’ll share it first :: The color selection. Personally I liked the Acai color case with its contrasting blue that I have for my case, but it was a tough decision with the 5 other fun and traditional colors to select from.

optimal viewing angleNext up I’m in love with the snap-button locking system that either holds the case closed around my iPad Air when not in use, or provides a stable base and stand for when I am using my iPad Air and want to be hands free (or able to type on a keypad). To go along with this feature I have to mention that you can set the case at two different angles for either an optimal viewing angle or ergonomic typing angle.

The case also has a magnetic sleep/wake function so my iPad automatically knows when the case has been shut around it, or when I’m opening it up for use. With the suede-like interior lining protecting the screen, you don’t have to worry about scratches during transit (or when the kids are bouncing around the house).

The last features I have to rave about are the case construction itself. I’ve already mentioned the soft suede-like lining of the interior that faces the screen, but the molded polycarbonate shell that holds your iPad Air is awesome. It just makes me feel like the case is a bit more protective than those made of less durable materials. It is also important to note that these protective features do not hinder access to any of the ports, controls, microphone, or camera.

This case has spent most of the past few weeks traveling far and wide with my girls and I as we finished our summer adventures. It has survived over 1000 miles in travel, children, and a few small drops (where I was thankful to have such a great case)! When the SnapView 2.0 Case is opened up I’m even able to use the magnetic attachment for my wireless keyboard with my iPad Air.
