I take a crazy number of videos and photos. Since I can’t put my kids in a bottle and stop time, I love to capture our daily moments in digital footage. In the past few years I have been turning the extra special days into video collages. I have a playlist for each month of the year on my YouTube channel to keep our memories somewhat organized. It’s basically digital scrapbooking of our lives. I have a family blog that I post it all to as well. We have family on the opposite side of the country and it really helps us all stay connected when they see our day to day happenings.

While it’s fun for me to make videos, I don’t have a ton of time to put into each “production”. That’s why I was so excited to look into Kizoa. I have videos that look like they took hours to piece together, but in reality it was minutes! Getting started with Kizoa is a breeze. They have free options so you can try it out, but I recommend you spring for the PRO version.

To begin, I upload my photos to my computer by the month. For example, I have an “October 2016” folder. When I want to make a video of a special day, it’s easy to find the photos. I open up www.kizoa.com and it’s time to begin.

Templates

Choose a template and add photos and videos. There are tons of different themes to choose from. I really like the templates because they have music that coordinates with theme as well. Remember how I like to upload my videos to YouTube? Well, the music has options that are YouTube friendly. You won’t get any scary copyright warnings and you can monetize your videos.

From Scratch

Follow your own mood with endless possibilities. When I have more time to be creative, it’s fun to dabble with all the features Kizoa has to offer. Kizoa is as easy or advanced as you want it to be.

I’ll leave you with an example of a video I made of our recent family photos. My sweet friends from www.reeceandkatrina.com took our photos shown in the video. I used a template and I tweaked it with some animation (sun at the beginning), I added text, and I rearranged some of the collage clips. As I learn to use Kizoa, I keep the suggestion box checked for more tips as I go.
