If you remember, I posted on the Leapfrog Summer Camp the end of May I kind of gave a little summary of what’s all offered.
Well, today I have a summary of what we have been up to! My goodness is this the most organized thing on the internet! LOL!
If you think that learning should always be in season, you’re right! Studies have shown that when students return to school after a long summer vacation, they’ve lost about one month’s worth of learning.†
LeapFrog Summer Camp is designed to keep the learning going all summer long through exciting weekly themes and free, do-anywhere learning activities that explore geography, writing, science, art and more. Sign up to receive a Summer Camp email every other week.
Last week we were talking about “Caring for Animals” (see all the activities HERE), and this week it’s Puzzle Time (again, see all the activities HERE)!
My Lili just loves puzzles, so I was excited to see how she would react to this week’s activities. we decoded messages, learned what tessellation is (it was a learning experience for me too!), painting, shapes, colors. Oh so much!! I feel organized like a home schooling mom doing this camp!
You guys, no joke. If you are looking for something to do with your kids this summer, you HAVE to check this out!!
