Can you believe we are talking Christmas already? Well, I know we aren’t the first. I’m sure you all are being bombarded with this. Yet, I really don’t mind. Christmas is a great time for me. I get to see my family more than I typically do and I get to see lots of smiles. It’s a happy time!
In addition to the family time, it’s a time to do a ton of research in finding the perfect gifts for my kids. An oldie but a goodies is back hanging around the past few years. Some upgrades to packaging, but the premise is basically the same. I’m talking about Lincoln Logs. Remember those? They are a STAPLE in the lives of many childhood memories. What a simple, perfect gift. Every time my girls get these out, I can guarantee they will be building for over an hour. You know, unless the baby knocks things down.
Even when friends come over, there is still logs of building and laughter.
And the imagination. WOW! What the kids come up with always makes me smile. I sometimes wonder if I could come up with this!
All in all, I think Lincoln Logs should be in the homes of all children. They are so much better than all the technology out there…in my opinion. Ha!
Did you have these growing up? Do your children have them now? Talk to me!
Connect with Lincoln Logs and continue the memories ::
Lincoln Logs can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
