I shared with you about the Kinetic Sand Build, and now I wanted to share with you another item from Kinetic Sand from Spin Master…the Kinetic Sand Float. This one though, oh so cool because it’s oh so different!
This set comes as a SET, which means all you need for a day of play is included. There are molds, there are multiple colors in the box, there is a playspace…all you need is water for added fun! Your littles can work together to create marine animals out of the product. The product, as you can see in the above picture, is moldable and squishy. It forms very easily in the provided molds.
Once all the molds are filled, and the creatures are formed, put them in wanted and away they go. They all float! My middle daughter spent over an hour playing with this when we first got it out. All my girls love the Kinetic Sand line! I love it because it’s something that gets their mind going and their hands moving and they are working together. It’s fantastic! We’ve brought these sets out when friends were visiting too. Again, huge success!
A couple last things to note. Kinetic Sand never dries out. Major bonus, right? It’s easily cleaned up too. Use it to clean itself up…roll it in a ball and use the ball to find all the little pieces on your playmats. Easy clean up is a huge bonus in my eyes. Last, it sticks to itself and not your little ones or yourself.
This one is a little less than the Kinetic Sand Build. You can purchase this for $19.99. Again, a really reasonable price for all that this can do!
Take a look below at two great gift options for birthdays or yet for Christmas. I have seen both of the items that my daughter is sharing, in stores this past weekend when we were doing last minute shopping. These are gifts that are sure to be loved!
Let’s discuss! What do you think of this? Would your little love it too?

January 6, 2016 at 9:41 amMy granddaughter left some of the floatable kinetic sand on my wooden dining room table (we believed that it would not stick to anything!) and now I have residue that I cannot get off of the polished table surface. I am fearful of using too many cleaning products until I know what is in the sand. I cannot find that info online (so far) but thought maybe you had some experience with this product and how to clean the residue. Scraping with a credit card (so as to not scratch the finish), 4o9, and furniture polish have all not helped remove it. I’d appreciate any advice.
