Santa himself would be proud of this kitchen (despite his shame of my holiday baking enthusiasm). Equipped with every detail you might find in a real kitchen, it is just about the coolest “real” toy you have ever seen. It has a refrigerator with a built-in water/ice dispenser (which we don’t even have in our actual kitchen), a cordless phone (with its very own hook), and even an exhaust hood for the oven range. With a barbecue-style supply of food items and enough plasticware for a holiday potluck, your kiddos will be able to create their own Secret Santa party with all the fixins’.
Having a varied age group under my roof, my favorite part of this play kitchen is the ability to transition it from the younger set to the older kid bracket. The big-kid version is the perfect height for your preschooler (and more compact, if your play area is limited, as mine is) and a widened version for your toddler, providing lower, more reachable areas for your little baker-in-training. Either stage will provide a ton of fun and creativity for any age group. The kitchen set has 26 accessories, including silverware, plates, cups, and a pot which doubles as a shape sorter (even my 6 year old will love fitting the star into the star-shaped cutout!). And so, I honestly CAN. NOT. WAIT. until I can give them the Little Tikes Cook ‘n Grow Kitchen in T minus 35 days. Christmas can’t be very far away…..can it???

November 21, 2013 at 9:04 pmI love al the little tikes products and can’t wait until my niece is old enough so she can have them. Yeah, she is only one month so there is some time! This kitchen is so cute, but I think we will get her a toll bench so she can be daddy’s helper
