I get OCD about being prepared for the inevitables (yes plural, it’s always more then one inevitable that pops up) when you go anywhere with a baby. I keep an extra outfit in each car, spare diapers in the glove box, shout wipes in the diaper bag, etc. There comes a point when I can’t fit another item in my stroller and being prepared has become cumbersome. When I find products that are functional and multi-purpose, I get pretty excited. The waterbug blanket has been a glorious combination of function and style. It’s the blanket you want to have in your car or stroller at all times because it’s going to come in handy. It’s a waterproof blanket that I’ve used to throw over our heads in the rain. It’s the perfect size to lay on the ground when the grass is damp, but you want to sit. It can even be used as a changing pad on the fly. It covers an infant seat and keeps them dry if you get caught in a shower. I have plans to use it in the car to keep our seats dry when we ride home from the pool with damp swimsuits. Have I mentioned it’s adorable?! I love our polka dot, multi-functioning blanket.
Luv Bug Company has more then just blankets too! I also gave the Bottle Buddy a try. It makes our Charlie’s bottle unique so we know it’s his in the nursery at church. It helps him hold his bottle and promotes fine motor skills too. I was also happy to discover that it fits on his new sippy cup.
