I’m due with baby number 3 in August.
With my first born I found it fairly easy to maintain a nursing routine – no other babes running around needing this or that, no school, playdates, or other activities to get older kids to. You get the idea.
When my second was born I tried desperately to keep a sense of normalcy to my eldest’s routine while still giving my newborn what she needed in regards to nursing. I attempted nursing at the park, playdates, and library times. For the most part I was able to make it happen, but I *always* had to wear the same nursing shirt and bra so I could nurse without showing off everything to everyone. I’m all about nursing in public – on my body I just prefer a little modesty. I felt like I was wearing the same clothes everyday…and it’s because I was!
I’m so excited about this Undercover Mama nursing shirt! Clip it to your nursing bra and throw on whatever shirt you want and you can look like a normal person – and perhaps even feel like a normal person getting to have a change of clothes everyday 😉
I tried it on with several of my shirts and it works really fantastic. This is going to be so nice since once this baby arrives, I will be working around preschool schedules, library times, and playdates times 2 other toddlers! It will be nice to slip this on under whatever shirt I want to wear for the day, be able to nurse baby wherever I am, and still feel like I’m covered.
I love this video to show you how the nursing shirt works:
