making pumping a little bit easier with the kiinde system

disclaimer no giveaway
When you are having a new baby you are bombarded with all the wonderful baby items available. Beyond the necessary, there are products that make your life so much easier, the duds that you only use for a short season, and others that are completely useless. It is always hard to make the decision on what items fall into what categories when you are a first time parent or even trying something out for the first time with your following children.

I’m excited to tell you about one of those items that has been making my life So. Much. Easier. Seriously, I wish that the Kiinde Twist breast milk storage system had been around when my two older children were babies. If you haven’t seen the Kiinde system before, or are not familiar, let me tell you about this total time saver!

With all of my babies I have pumped my milk for various reasons and I had a pretty good system down for pumping, feeding, and freezing. The Kiinde Twist system has made even that finely tuned process easier. Thanks to a couple of easy to use adapters I now direct pump into the Kiinde Twist storage pouches instead of pumping into bottles and then pouring it into freezer bags (while desperately hoping I don’t spill any of that liquid gold). I can proudly say that I’ve had NO spills with the Kiinde system plus their storage pouches can be easily labeled and have leak-proof twist-locking caps!

From there you can refrigerate the storage pouches or freeze them. Personally I use the Kiinde Keeper to stack my milk in the freezer until it is frozen. I love how the design lays the pouches out almost flat so that they freeze with the milk distributed more evenly (which makes storage in the actual freezer easier as well). When you’re ready to use the milk either thaw in the fridge or use the Kiinde Kozii to thaw and heat your milk without destroying those precious nutrients.

Simply click the pouch into the Squeeze natural feeding bottle either using their Active Latch nipple or use an adapter to use the bottle nipple of your choice and you can feed baby without ever transferring your milk to a second container! By far one of my favorite baby products I highly recommend the Kiinde Twist system to any momma who needs to store breastmilk!
