making your house baby friendly, yet stylish :: review

We moved just over a year ago to a home about twice the size of the one we were in.  It was my goal to no longer have children’s toys and baby essential within eye view.  There is nothing wrong with it, I just decided that after 7 years in a very crowded home, I was rewarded with this simple luxury 🙂 That being said, it sure is pretty hard to hide away the little treasures and toys your kids want to play with.  I have found bins for the toys that match my decor, but what about the essentials when you have a baby?

I have your answer – and it comes from Neutral Nursery.  When they contacted us to share their Baby Changes, I loved the idea of it and had to check it out first hand.  At first glance, the stylish look and accessibility of the item had me intrigued.  If I’m going to be having baby items “out of sight, out of mind”, I still need them easily accessible.  Chances are, my little helpers who are ages 7, 4 and 2 will be the ones running for me.

The Baby Changes has an easy “flip top” and then you are in.  You can see that in the picture below.  Once it’s closed though, you would never know it’s filled with diapers and creams and wipes…oh my! 🙂

The best thing?  The underside of the lid is a waterproof and wipeable surface that you are able to change the baby on! A mat on the go in your living/family room.  Close by for the diaper changing needs.

There is a magnetic closure that ensures the lid will stay put.  Not only that, but if you look closely, you will see handles as well.  That’s great when you need the whole kit-n-caboodle when a massive diaper emergency occurs.

I love this product and the aesthetic appeal to it.  It’s convenient and does it’s job SO well.  My visitors haven’t asked any questions about what’s inside, and THAT makes this nesting momma smile! 🙂
