We are at it again. I’ve teamed up with a handful of awesome, pretty, talented, fun, well-rounded AND fashionable women to share with you how we are currently styling a denim jacket. I used to think a denim jacket was ‘so not me’, but I think it was because I didn’t find one that I liked a ton. They were frumpy and not flattering. It wasn’t until I found what looked best on me and worked that route. From there, they have been a staple in my closet.

You may have see me sharing my style on our Instagram quite frequently, and there you probably have seen my go-to denim jacket from Kohl’s. When in doubt, I always check Kohl’s first. It is close to home and I can go and try things on. And it’s easy. So, there’s that tip.

So, for starters, let’s look at this entire look from Kohl’s. The graphic tee and capris are from the Milly for Kohl’s line. I’ll be sharing more about this line in another post, but for now, isn’t it fun? I am not a total fan of plain white, so I added the 3/4 length denim jacket to complete this look. It made me feel more put together. I liked the ‘levels’ it gave the look too!

I’ve added the same jacket to a fun dress. This one is from Emily with LuLaRoe. More to come from them, but for now you can see how fun this dress is…and when you add the denim jacket, it makes the hip consciousness about this dress go away. At least I think so! And, the shoes. Can we take a second a just swoon over these Clarks shoes?

I’ve added a denim jacket to a maxi skirt and t-shirt combo. It’s an easy, effortless addition. Plus, it adds the layers so you can make a summer outfit work in colder months. I’m all about layering. I found a fabulous one that I actually thrifted, but it’s from a high end line called, Cabi. You can’t get this any more, but I had to share it’s awesomeness with you all. {I did see something similar on their site.} Aren’t the ‘ruffles’ on the jacket lovely? I LURV them and the fun that they add to any outfit! If you have the time, you can totally find treasures in the thrift!

I adore this skirt from Nobella Grace. She is always adding new inventory and it’s totally swoon-worthy most of the time.
