I am not pulling your leg here, we have found a new family favorite game! Uno Roboto! When I first saw the name, I had a feeling we would like it. Why? Well, because we LOVE Uno. We play it in our house…we play it with our family at the Holidays and we also play it with some of our friends on Game Night!
Ages say from 7-11 years, but obviously I am older than that and my friends and I still had fun. But, if you are looking at this for your kids, it’s a definite THUMBS UP! My 5 year old had a blast playing with us on one occasion and with our extended family on another. This game is definitely coming with us to Thanksgiving this week! My Lili was laughing so hard from time to time because of the “rules”. That’s the funnest part about Uno Roboto. Here is a little more about it, my comment will make more sense after reading this…
Uno Roboto has basic play as Uno, however there is a sweet little robot that leads you through the game. Oh yah, Lili’s favorite part! Now the funny part about this, Uno Roboto allows you to RECORD YOUR OWN RULES! For example, she recorded “fist bump and blow it up with your teammate”. Then throughout the game this is randomly announced by Uno Roboto.
It also has parts of the game where you can give the other teammates “nicknames”. Another quite hysterical point in our game play because Uno Roboto repeats back in his silly little voice the nickname you choose for the opposing team.
The special cards like the Wild Card, +2, etc took her a little while to remember, but that’s why we were there to help. Other than that, there were no challenges with the game even though it’s for ages 7+. We love playing games in our house. Brings us closer together as a family and creates memories. This will be played often.
All in all, I highly recommend this game for families. I too believe this is a PERFECT Christmas gift idea!
