Whenever I take my girls out to lunch at our favorite restaurant I can just about guarantee we will get to see a firetruck go by with lights and sirens on at least once during our meal. For the girls, seeing that big red truck zoom down the street is right up there with the desert that they know I will let them pick.
Knowing how much the girls love watching firetrucks I was pretty sure that being able to play with one would be even better, and I have not been disappointed since Miss M has spent the past few weeks regularly acting out rescues using the Fire Rescue Pumper Truck and Fire Patrol ATV from the Blok Squad Fire Patrol Rescue set from Mega Bloks.

My girls love blocks and I love how Blok Squad Fire Patrol Rescue set helped fuel my oldest daughter’s imagination. The tiny tools that fit in the functioning doors make it possible for her to get even more detailed in her play.
The Blok Squad sets are all recommended for children aged 5 and up, however with some assembly help from mom (I felt like a kid playing with the vehicles the whole time) 4.5-year-old Michaela was able to easily enjoy this block set. my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
