I’m not the computer geek I once was, but I do try to keep up with technology. Knock on wood, I have never had a virus on my PC that hasn’t been caught by Microsoft Security Essentials. Better yet, it’s a FREE virus protection program. I have used it for the past 5+ years and I’m 100% happy with the protection it has provided for our computers. One major tip: don’t use multiple virus protection programs or they will conflict with each other.

computer status protectedIf you are like me, you love the price tag {FREE} and I can vouch for this being an outstanding way to protect your PC. If you ever suspect anything fishy or if something doesn’t look right, run an extra scan right then and there. If you are prompted to run a scan and it doesn’t look like the familiar screen on the right, BEWARE! Don’t forget to completely remove any current virus protection first, then give Microsoft Security Essentials a try!
