Johnny. Sarah. Aidan. Isabella. Names are a huge part of who we are. It was less than a year ago that we were deciding on a name for our son. It was a relatively simple decision for us. We had a few names that we both liked, but were able to settle on one pretty easily. I am amazed now at how that name just fits him so perfectly. I couldn’t imagine hearing him called any of the other names we had tossed around before he was born. His name is something he will carry with him wherever he goes. One day he will head off to school and he will walk in to his classroom and see his name on his little desk. His last name at some point will probably be on the back of a uniform as he heads out onto a field or court. His name will later be on his signature on the bottom of an email for work.
For now though, I just love to see his name, and even just his initial, in his nursery in our home.
