Monorail Studio is a highly professional Etsy shop offering very cool and hip art prints, which are screen printed by hand by creators Daniella and Sandrine. Their prints feature classic icons, but with a modern pop art flair.

I chose Fly Away because it makes me think of the exhilarating feeling of freedom. Do you remember the last day of school before summer vacation when we were kids? It’s that feeling right there. This print makes me feel that feeling.

Art that moves a person to feel is great art, indeed.

I purchased a standard 16 x 20 inch frame, and then had a custom mat cut. I was so excited to find the exact same shade of teal for my print! I had originally thought I’d mat the photo in white, but when I found this mat color, I knew it was meant to be.

Monorail Studios has a wide variety of prints available, with a palette of 25 colors. The hardest part of shopping with them is choosing your favorite color (well, at least it was for me!). They use very heavy paper stock and acid free archival inks. The prints are shipped rolled in a sturdy tube, but the print flattens nicely when matted.
