We are no longer new to Monster Jam. We saw our second event and it was fantastic. The Triple Threat Series was quite a thrill. The show began with the Monster Trucks, there were a few heats of 4 wheeler races, and then the drivers raced in ATV’s. Their skills with the variety of vehicles was impressive. We couldn’t help, but giggle at how many times the ATV’s turned over.
If a show is in your town, you must consider getting tickets. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get to the show and it was worth it! Pack your ear plugs and your smiles for this family friendly event. The kids enjoyed the Judges Zone portion of the show when they got to rate each skills challenge 0-10. It was fun to have a part in the show by choosing the winner. There was a donut challenge, a 2 wheel challenge, and freestyle is always entertaining.
The crowd favorite was the SHARK truck. The SAP center is also called the “Shark Tank” because the San Jose Sharks play there. Wonder Woman (a brand new truck) was the next favorite among the spectators. The all around winner was our favorite truck. The kids would do the best shark arms to clap for him. We had a really nice time as a family.
