more than just stylish finds from aventura clothing :: review

You know how when you find clothes that you really love you tell all your friends? Like, “See this great top I found at XYZ store!” or “Look at these fabulous sandals I just got from ABC shoes!” Today I’m going to tell you all about the newest clothing company I just have to share with all my friends (and that includes you, our fabulous readers!).

To start I’ll let you know that my personal clothing style runs towards Classic and Simple. Most days you will find me in jeans, capris, or shorts paired with a comfortable tank or tee-shirt styled top. This is what I feel most confident wearing, but I am sometimes challenged to find clothes that I can comfortably wear to chase after my children while still looking cute.

The moment I found the Aventura Clothing website I fell in love! After much deliberation I had a Naomi Henley and a pair of Addie Organic Cotton Capris on the way to my door to have as my very own.

My Sahara Sun colored Naomi Henley is sooo soft it’s like wearing a cloud! (Okay, so I have no idea what a cloud feels like or how soft they are, but you get the idea, super soft.) On top of soft and comfy, it looks fabulous when paired with my Addie Organic Cotton Capris and can be dressed up with the right scarf or accessories. Because of the burnout print it’s best to pair it with a tank underneath, but basically, I think the Naomi Henley is the perfect tee.

Choosing the Addie Organic Cotton Capris over Aventura Clothing’s best selling Arden capris, took some extra deliberation. They may look the same but the Addie has a little higher rise (sits just below the waist) and after thinking about my body type and other favorite pants I knew the Addie would be my perfect fit. The Shitake color works well with most everything in my closet and I love being able to roll up the legs to pedal pusher length during these crazy spring days with 20+ degree temperature swings.
