It is no secret that my family loves taking trips to Walt Disney World, and it is also no secret that I’m a bit of a planner. With so many great new events happening, attractions opening, and celebrations occurring this year at Walt Disney World vacations there are sure to be a popular choice for many people.
If you’re looking for tips on planning that vacation I still stand by the info I shared in these three older posts (the info is still current and my top tips!) Planning a Magical Vacation, Planning a Magical Vacation Part 2, or Tips for Planning a Magical Walt Disney World Vacation.
Here are a couple new tips I wanted to share…
1) Prime Now :: in the past I have recommended Garden Grocers for your grocery delivery needs while visiting Walt Disney World and I still love their service, but Amazon Prime Members may want to take advantage of the free delivery options with Prime Now. This is especially helpful for snacks, bottled water, personal care items, or anything you forgot to pack.
2) Lyft App for Minnie Vans :: while Walt Disney World resorts offer many free transportation methods there are times when you may not be able to (or just not want to) wait for those free rides. Taxis are available on property but a Minnie Van is the options we will be chooseing because A) Minnie Van drivers knowledgeable Disney Cast Members and B) they have car seats available for your little travelers. You can learn more about the Minnie Van Service HERE.
3) Touring Plans :: I’ve shared this website before but did you know TouringPlans.com has a Disney Crowd Calendar where they predict how busy each park will be on a given day? If you purchase the paid subscription you can see their crowd predictions for 1 year out. I have been especially impressed with how quickly they updated their predictions after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was announced for later this year. (Having used their plans in the past I have found them to be very accurate.)
4) Plan Ahead :: between deciding on dining reservations, making FastPass+ selections, and deciding which parks to visit or activities to participate in each day can be a daunting task. To help keep myself organized on our family “wish list” of upcoming reservations I created this handy sheet and plan on taking a printed copy with our finalized reservation lists on it so when the kids are asking what we will be doing each day I can refer them to the week-at-a-glance sheet for the details. I hope this helps you as well! (click below image for printable page)
