I had good intentions of getting this post out before class parties commenced, but I’m a real mom like the rest of you. I’m up to my eyeballs in last minute Christmas preparations. I’m also trying my very best to enjoy the Christmas season with my family. Was I the mom with the most amazing pinterest inspired snack at the class party? Nope, I got trumped by a reindeer, but I made a really easy and cute treat.
This would be a fun holiday project for the kids to do with you. I am a big fan of snack crafts. It’s good to have a few little activities planned while the kids are on Christmas break. This recipe does not travel well. It needs to be assembled on site. Not a problem because it is quick, but it’s a nice stay at home recipe to try.
Frosty Donut Recipe
I made some tweaks. I couldn’t find candy corn, but I had some jelly beans I cut in half for a nice snowman nose. I used pretzel sticks for the arms instead of candy canes. I found a pretzel stick worked as a dowel to hold the snowman up as well. I also froze the donuts which made them better to work with. You are allowed to take some artistic liberties when creating your Frosty.

January 15, 2015 at 3:53 amI havent ever seen this brand but hubby is a huge fan of powdered donuts. He also has one of the cats hooked on the sugar from them, and the cat will always want a piece of his own.
