my favorite things {2017 edition}

I’m lucky enough to be able to check out all kinds of fun things all year long. I share most of them with you and today I’m sharing a few of my favorite things I’ve reviewed this year. None of these companies have paid for this post in any way–I’m just sharing some things I love!

1. Nora Fleming. This is one product I come back to again and again. I love to bring out these gorgeous pieces anytime we have company or bring a dish to an event. And they are perfect for gift-giving. Giving one platter + mini (maybe full of some yummy treats) is perfect for Christmas, a hostess gift, Mother’s Day or anytime! It’s so easy to add on to the collection by giving a mini for other occasions. And it’s so much more convenient to have one type of serveware that can be customized for every occasion.

2.  Wella Bars.  I discovered these on a whim at Costco.  I checked out the ingredients and found that they are organic and free of processed sugars but still FULL of protein.  I bought them and now they are on my permanent Costco list!  They are priced less than most protein bars and the quality is amazing. We go through a lot of these bars–for breakfasts, lunches or snacks.  They are kid and adult approved!

3. Jojo Maman Bebe.  I can’t say enough about this kids clothing brand.  High quality, gorgeous clothes that wear like steel.  Every time my little guy struts out in his Jojo gear, he gets compliments.  Every. Single. Time.  These clothes are perfect for everything from school to special occasions.  And their outerwear is so well thought out–warm, waterproof and functional.  Love that Jojo is both fashionable and functional.

4.  Nucleus.  Now that we’ve had our Nucleus system for a while, I’m still feeling strongly about how much I love it!  We use it for everything from the built-in Amazon Alexa to connecting with out-of-town family to checking in on our kids when we’re not home.  This video system connects instantly through wi-fi.  So when my son was home sick and I had to run to an appointment with another child, I was able to see my son and talk to him, making sure he was doing okay.  This also works as an intercom system within your own house.
