As soon as the temperatures cooled down, my youngest son started waking up at night again. And every time he woke up, he asked the same thing “Mommy, I’m cold. Will you put my covers back on?” I started thinking about how long the winter is going to be (here in Michigan, it is LONG!) and knew I needed a solution. When I found the toddler sleeping bag from JoJo Maman Bebé, I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Designed similarly to sleep sacks I used when my kids were babies, the toddler sleeping bag is made for bigger kids–those who have outgrown baby sleep sacks, but still have trouble keeping their covers on. As soon as the JoJo Maman Bebé sleeping bag came, I tried it out. And it worked! He has not woken up asking me to put his covers on since he started wearing his sleeping bag to bed. He even asks me to put it on him.
Here are a few features I love about the JoJo Maman Bebé toddler sleeping bag. 1. The detachable arms. I love the concept of arms on a sleep sack and that added warmth on a cold night. And taking them off is great for times when it’s not quite so cold in the house, but your child still wants a blanket. 2. The size. The sleep sack is so long. It says it fits up to 4-year-olds, but I am guessing it will fit even longer (though I’m hoping he’ll learn to put his own covers on someday!) 3. The weight. I love to pile on the blankets at night but have always had to keep the heat up to make sure any little ones stay warm. With this sleep sack, I know he’ll be warm even if it’s cold in the house. I ordered the 3.5 tog one but they are also available in a 2.5 tog for those of you who need something a bit lighter.4. The washability. I was nervous to wash the sleeping bag because some bedding likes to bunch up and become a bit of a nuisance after washing. This is not the case with this sleep sack. It made it through the washer and dryer looking as good as new. 5. The material. The toddler sleeping bag is a 100% cotton jersey knit that is so soft.
I’ve shared other JoJo Maman Bebé products here and here. Now that I’ve tried out apparel, outerwear and sleepwear, and I love all of it, I hope you’re as excited as I am about this next part.
