What’s the one thing you can get into shape without exercise?
EYEBROWS!
I’m talking about eyebrows and facial hair today. Kinda awkward, but at least you aren’t the one photographing your facial hair! The things I do for our faithful readers. 🙂 I try to keep up on my brows because I don’t want to spend the time or money getting them waxed at the salon. I get super crazy red when I get my eyebrows waxed and I hate having to walk through the mall to my car with my angry looking, freshly waxed brows. There are a lot of reasons I was excited to find out I could wax and shape my brows at home.
Nad’s has a natural at-home facial wand and eyebrow shaper that you can get for a mere $8.99 at Target or Walmart. Not only is it cheaper then getting a professional waxing, you don’t have to tip the beautician! You can give yourself a pat on the back when you are done though. I found this to be really easy to use. What I really liked about it, was that I didn’t have to heat up wax. Just prepare your brows with the wipes provided, apply the easy to control gel from the applicator (looks like a marker), firmly smooth a cotton strip (provided and reusable) to your brow, and pull the strip off to remove the unwanted growth.
Don’t stop at your eyebrows! You can use this wand on your chin, upper lip, etc. It’s made with natural ingredients so it’s really good for sensitive skin. I did get a little bit red, but NOTHING like I do after a waxing. It’s such little fuss and so easy to use, I’ll take about 10 minutes before bed to shape and touch up my brows with Nad’s. The results last about 4-6 weeks, but you can stretch it longer if you take just a minute to tweeze each day.

May 31, 2016 at 10:41 amI want to try these because they are great for sensitive skin. The other good thing would be that I could do this at home. Since I have a busy work schedule it’s hard for me to make time to go to the salon to have them waxed. By the time I get to the salon I almost have old man eyebrows…lol

May 18, 2016 at 10:20 amOne upon a time I had a home waxing incident. I walked around with half an eyebrow for a month or so it was not cute. This does look a littler safer and would save me some plucking time .

May 18, 2016 at 6:03 pmOh dear Charlene!!!!!! I’m so sorry. If you get the gel where it’s supposed to be (and that is easy to do) you should be much better off trying it at home again.

May 17, 2016 at 5:18 pmI haven’t done my eyebrows in forever since having my daughter last year. I usually get them threaded but it looks like I just got the worst news afterwards because my eyes just start watering like crazy. I bet it would be better to avoid all the looks and do my eyebrows at home.
