My 4 year old daughter is still entranced by the Dora phenomenon. Recently, we received the newest DVD from Nickelodeon and the Dora collection, Dora Rocks. When this arrived, my daughter jumped up and down. Could be worse I suppose. I honestly don’t mind Dora, her episodes are all learning based and that’s a must if my kids are going to be watching television. In addition, there are quite catchy tunes in each episode. Often times, I find my daughter dancing along. In this DVD, the first episode has a ton of old school tunes like, Mary Had a Little Lamb, The Wheels on the Bus, and many more.
Also, recently Netflix discontinued the streaming of Dora. Ahhh…right??? I have heard all over Facebook and Twitter how my friends’ children are beyond sad about this. Share this post with them – they can be happy again! They can have this DVD for about the same cost as a month’s Netflix membership. 🙂
