There are days you could fry an egg on my greasy head. Of course I hide the mess with a hat and head off to the gym, but I would be horrified if people knew what was going on under that cap – it’s possible it’s breakfast cooking…eggs over easy. I don’t mean to go that extra day after it’s already been three days without washing it. I always think I can avoid one more day of washing my mop. Like in the photo below.
Turns out I CAN get out of washing my hair for a few days more! Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Dry Shampoo is a step above other dry shampoo’s I’ve tried. As I share some photos, I am laughing that I’ve done two hair related posts this month and I’m in dire need of fresh highlights. I recently had an older friend ask me what dry shampoo was for. I hid my surprise , brought her some the next day, and explained how it absorbs extra oils, it cleans your hair without water, and it leaves a nice matte finish.
I was able to wear my hair down for the first 2-3 days. The last two days I’ve done a pony tail and a braid. NO HAT because I’m still looking fresh. The photo above was taken on DAY 4 of not washing my hair. This stuff is legit. You can find it at Ulta, Target, Walmart, and CVS to name a few stores.
I like to spray it generously into my hair, parting it in various directions. Let it “marinade” while you put on your makeup or make your cup of coffee. After a few minutes all the oils are soaked up and your hair is ready to be styled. There is an unscented version if you prefer, but I liked the original because it smells so nice.
