one-of-a-kind jewelry to start off the new year

Now that Christmas has come and gone, I’m ready to start off the new year by organizing my house–starting with my dresser! Things get a bit crazy throughout the year and I like to start off the new year clearing out the old and making room for new–and just having less cluttered space. It seems my jewelry drawer gets the most crazy. I acquire things I wear once or just aren’t versatile enough for me. And now it’s time to clear out the things I don’t wear and just keep what I love.

With jewelry, I love to have items that are unique and high quality–not necessarily “real” jewels, but things that express my personal style without tarnishing. I’ve gone to Uno Alla Volta for a few of my favorite pieces that are definitely living to see another year (and probably many more!) in my jewelry drawer. A fun yellow number is my newest necklace from Uno Alla Volta and I just love the burst of color in a {very} cold winter!

I shared before my favorite set from Uno Alla Volta but it seems appropriate to share it again. These earrings (shown in the center above) and necklace remind me of a summer sunset–and here in Michigan I need that reminding! Temps in the negatives do not work well for me so a little summer sunset in the middle of winter helps me look forward to the most amazing Michigan summers!
