oohh baby it’s cold outside so let’s bundle up with lands’ end :: review + awesome contest information {#LEOuterwear #TravelTuesdays #RealMomStyle}

This morning was windy and rainy, yet it wasn’t cold. Fast forward a few hours and it was windy, rainy AND cold. Just annoying weather. How do you dress for this weather, seriously! My answer has, of late, come from Lands’ End. I found a seriously adorable coat that is even more serious about the weather. I have swooned over Lands’ End for quite some time now. I have a few items from them, shoes and some cardigans I believe, yet I have never dove in to their outerwear, well, unless I was in a Twitter party or Instagram daily photo contest. During those times I would ALWAYS find something completely swoon-worthy. I don’t know why I never made the purchase on the items I’ve loved. I’ll never know, but now I do know that when I am in need of a new jacket, the first place I’ll be stopping is definitely Lands’ End!

Ok, let me share with you this beauty that arrived late last night! Given how fast I’m sharing this with you all, you can tell I REALLY like it! For starters, I didn’t realize the that redish color in the coat is actually pink. When it arrived, I wondered if I somehow missed that and had to look back at the jacket. I must say that I absolutely ADORE it! I think it’s super fun, great contrast! When I got home last night to find this, I had to try it on immediately. I am about a size 6 or an 8 right now, so I ordered the 8 in the jacket. I figured I better go with the larger size since I’ll most likely be hiding layers under this coat. It fits me perfectly. So, that being said, in my personal comparison I would say it runs true to size.

It is a thick coat, but not bulky. The wool outer is sure to keep me warm and the silky interior is smooth as butter to the touch. It’s heavenly! In regards to some of the details that I think are perfect. The flap pocket adds a lovely touch while allowing room for pocket storage as well as an additional slitted pocket right below. Great for hiding our hands in the cold! The closure buttons on the coat are hidden, so no attention is paid to them when you are gazing upon this gorgeous coat. It just flows….

This is definitely a head turner. When my husband saw it, his first response was wow! That was my first response as well…and when I tried it on, it upped to a WOW!
