clean your teeth naturally with oraMD :: review and giveaway

In the last couple years I have been second guessing just about everything when it comes to skin care, cosmetics, and toiletries. Too many harsh chemicals, toxic ingredients, and cancer causing additives are snuck in, and I’m not falling for it.

Toothpaste is one of those things that I have dabbled in “them all”. Everything from all natural and “tooth soaps”, to homemade recipes. I haven’t really come across one that I would say – YES this is the toothpaste I use.

Until recently! I really love the concept, ingredients, and effectiveness of the OraMD toothpaste and mouthwash.

OraMD is an all natural liquid toothpaste, mouthwash and breath freshener. It uses 100% pure botanical oils of almond, spearmint, and peppermint that are naturally anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory with powerful plaque fighters. The dangers of fluoride are plastered everywhere – you don’t want that in your toothpaste. There are great studies posted on www.oramd.com about toxic fluoride.

I have been using it all week and love it. I only need 2 drops on my toothbrush for brushing and a couple drops in a small amount of water for a mouth wash. My mouth feels super clean and I don’t have to think about harsh chemicals getting in my body.

I go back and forth about worrying about flouride, but it is interesting that so many European countries have banned it, if the website is right!

I am really interested in trying this because I have frequent sores in my mouth, a condition I can’t really avoid because it is the result of a medicine I take. Not much really helps it, and it is really annoying, so I’d love to try this to see if it could help!

    Thanks!
