I LOVE taking pictures. My kids have the insta-smile down pat and have even grown to love our little picture-taking traditions: the outdoor red circle at Target, the toilet paper aisle at the supermarket (I don’t know how this started but I am powerless to stop it), the “I just built the coolest LEGO robot ever, Mom, come take a picture!” picture. But now that the holiday season is upon us, I have realized that I have not picked up an actual camera in weeks, despite the fact that I have two amazing and relatively expensive Canon cameras. If you find yourself in a similar predicament, do not fear! Kodak Alaris has a brand new app that will allow you to design, order and ship your cards in less time than it will take to figure out where in the world you put that pricey DSLR.
Allow me to introduce you to the Kodak Moments app, your one-stop shop for holiday cards, whether you are in the market for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah cards. They have so many cute and trendy designs to choose from (this is probably the hardest part of the process because just when you think you have found the perfect design, you scroll a tiny bit farther and find another one you absolutely love). The app offers designs that feature one picture or ten pictures, and everything in between. Most of the elements of the card are customizable, including the font, color, and layout of your text. In addition, the app not only makes it easy to choose photos that you have saved on your phone, but also ones from Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, and Dropbox.
The best part of the Kodak Moments experience for me was how quick and easy it was to create and personalize my card. I have used other mobile apps that claim to be user-friendly but have found over time that they are anything but. The Kodak Moments app truly delivers a fun and fast way to put together a holiday card that you will truly be excited about. And now through November 21, all holiday cards are 30% off (no promo code needed). So don’t put it off until Christmas Eve (I have literally done this before)….order today!
