pacific baby world :: natural bamboo tableware :: review & giveaway

disclaimer no giveaway

Each of my three children mastered feeding themselves at different speeds. I’ve learned to introduce tableware as early as they can start picking up their puffs. If they don’t know anything different, they get used to eating like the grown up’s.

Pacific Baby World has a great selection of bamboo tableware. As you can see, Charlie is a big fan of his big boy cup, star bowl, and the small weaning bowl has been my personal favorite. I just introduced the cup to him this past week. I put very little water in it, but he is able to drink without spilling. He can’t be trusted to keep it on his tray for too long, but I’m happy to give him his drink and monitor him. He’s only 20 months old, no rush to use a big boy cup all the time. The star shaped bowl seems to make his food more enticing. I know that sounds silly and he obviously isn’t wasting away, but sometimes he won’t eat at meal times. As a mom, you quickly learn you have to change things up and make it exciting. The weaning bowl is great for snacks. It is easy for him to hold with the little handle. It’s deep enough that his craisins don’t spill out when he stumbles around the house.

I wasn’t familiar with bamboo feeding items before. I was impressed with the quality. They can take a tumble off the highchair and they don’t break when they hit the floor. feeding bowl and cupI can wash them easily in the top rack of the dish washer, and there are a lot of safety and health benefits since they are plastic-free. Here are a few more facts worth noting:

  • Made from natural bamboo
  • Safe & healthy!
  • Completely plastic-free
  • Strong, durable and safe
  • Machine washable, top rack
  • Biodegradable / compostable
  • Complies with EU and US safety standards
