Last night we were driving in the car at 7:30 PM and I looked back to see my 4-year-old struggling to stay awake. Knowing that a power nap right then was the kiss of death for a good night’s sleep I quickly asked her if she would like to play with my phone. “Can we play Peppa Pig’s Party Time?” she chirped back as she immediately perked up.

They don’t spend a lot of time playing games on my phone but when I’m in a crunch I appreciate having some apps on my iPhone that can keep my girls entertained. Doctor’s offices, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, all times when keeping the kids engaged is of utmost importance. I’ve seen what damage a bored 4-year-old can do, it’s not pretty.

If you’re not already familiar with the delightful Peppa Pig let me educate you a bit. Peppa Pig is a little piggy who lives in the U.K. with her little brother George, Mommy Pig, and Daddy Pig. I’ve shared Peppa Pig a few other times before with our readers and you can see those posts HERE.

Peppa Pig is a delightful little girl who enjoys jumping in puddles, playing with her friends, dressing up, playing games, and going on trips. My girls love listening to Peppa Pig’s snorts of laughter and wonderful British accent, “Mommy, why does Peppa speak with a British accent?” “Well dear, because she’s from Great Britain.” “Oh. Okay.”

The new Peppa Pig’s Party Time app has been their go-to game since I downloaded it on my iPhone a couple weeks back. For ages 2-6 years the seven party themed games and activities included in this app have kept my girls coming back to play over, and over, and over again.

Whether they are baking and decorating a cake, playing musical chairs, seeing who can pick the correct ribbon for pinata, or mailing out invites to all of Peppa’s friends they are always having fun with this great app!
