pet annual wellness check

I take wellness checks very seriously for my family members including our fur babies. We had a healthy chocolate Labrador of seven pass away last year without any warning and we were devastated.  So I definitely make sure to take her sweet sister to ensure we never have to experience that again before her time.  I’m one of those pet owners that are very particular about even the food I give my fur babies.  For as long as I can remember I have given my babies Purina Dog and Cat Chow.  My Siamese cat lived to be 18 and another chocolate Labrador lived to be 14 years of age on this food.  So if I know it works I don’t change what I do for my fur babies including the food we give them.

This was the first visit we have made to the vet in my new car and Bella did great!  She gets SO EXCITED!!!  If you have ever had a Labrador you know what I mean by EXCITED!!  She wanted to be in my lap, but that is just too dangerous while I am driving.  I make sure to secure her so that she doesn’t fly through the air if I have to stop suddenly.

I had to take her to the office with me first and she stayed until her appointment at 9:30. Bella made sure to check everything and everyone out for me. She was so EXCITED she couldn’t settle down. Bella has had to go through so many changes since the loss of her sister and this was just too much excitement for her.

Our veterinarians office is not very fancy, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Our vet will literally sit on the floor in front of the table and examine our Bella. She will talk to her and try her best to calm her so that she can properly examine her during her excited panting. Bella loves all the attention.

Our happy, loving, and sweet Bella will be eight on the 22 day of March! Make sure to take your pets for their check ups.
