planet flops, my absolute favorite summer time footwear :: review and coupon

Who else has a favorite summer footwear style? I swear, since being pregnant with my eldest (who’s 5 now) I have worn flip-flops 90% of the time once the temps top 50 degrees.  Of course, I live in Michigan where 50 degrees is considered shorts and tank top weather. 😉

Last summer I discovered what are (in my opinion) hands-down the world’s best flip-flops from Planet Flops.  While I’ve been a longtime flip-flop fan, I did have problems finding flip-flops that were 1) comfortable, 2) somewhat supportive, and 3) well-made/durable.  When I discovered that the flip-flops from Planet Flops were made from natural rubber and created by a podiatrist I knew I had to check them out.

After living in my Chocolate Vanilla or Blackberry Planet Flops all last summer I can easily attest that ::

1) Natural rubber really does have increased flexibility and cushion.  To learn the difference between natural rubber vs. synthetic rubber I suggest browsing the FAQs on the Planet Flops site (they have a great illustration).

2) Beverly Hills podiatrist, founder of Dr.ShoeMom, and creator of Planet Flops, Dr. Sylvie, really does know how to make a super-fab flip-flop

3) Unlike most flip flops that are completely trashed after 1 season of wear, my well-made Planet Flops will easily start off the 2013 toe-baring and child-chasing season still looking pretty darn good!

As an testament to just how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Planet Flops flip-flops I’ll let you know that I’m trying to decide on what colors I like for at least one (probably 2) more pair! Chocolate Orange or Vanilla Anise? Look below and you can see my dilemma…
