I’ve already posted about some of the fun things I used for my son’s first birthday party, but I wanted to share a few more of the details as this was such a fun day for him and our family! Here are a few of the details I focused on when planning.
Theme– We recently moved to farm country and already my little one loves playing with tractors so we thought a tractor/farm theme would be perfect! We used this to plan all the other details of the party!
Food- We have a lot of family in the area and we also had some friends come and celebrate with us, so I was looking for an easy way to feed 60 people with a good, simple menu. I settled on Pulled Pork in the Crockpot, Baked Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Roasted Potatoes, and a Veggie Tray. I thought this would fit the theme and be easy to make big portions!
Decorations– I’ve shared some of this with you already with the wonderful download décor kits from Printastic Design. (Don’t forget to enter to win your own here.) This included signs, straw flags, cupcake toppers, banners, water bottle wraps, and so much more! I also loved the chalkboard sign from Pickle Noodle Boutique to share some of his favorite things as well as his growth, and also for a wonderful keepsake. It can be printed in various sizes for differnet uses too! And finally, I created a monthly photo board with an old pallet from our barn. I printed a photo from each month and displayed for everyone to see!
Outfit- Lilthreadz Clothing provided me with another fantastic t-shirt for my little guy’s party. It was a perfect vintage red with white lettering for one and a black tractor! I absolutely love it and think it made the perfect one year photos! Take a look at all her fabulous designs perfect for so many occasions.
The party was fun for all of us and a day we will always remember! I am thankful for the opportunity we had to celebrate one year with so many wonderful friends and family!
