A couple weeks back my girls and I took a middle of the week mini-vacation. It would have been a great day and a half at the lake if only the sun had not waited to come chase the rain away until I had packed up to leave.
Even though we couldn’t do any of the outdoor activities we had gone there to enjoy we still toughed it out and stayed to enjoy our time. I really wish I had already discovered Pizza Party from The Haywire Group before we left, my girls would have been entertained all day!
Pizza Party is a super easy game for just about anyone to play. While recommended for ages 8+ even my 5-year-old and 3-year-old both get in on the action. Thankfully I don’t have to worry about my 3-year-old trying to eat the dice, but if you do make sure that you don’t leave your kiddos unattended around these small parts.
Okay, now onto the fun. Each Pizza Party game set comes with materials for 2 players. You get 10 dice with different pizza toppings on them and a deck of pizza slice shaped cards with different needed ingredients. Watch the below video for a quick tutorial on how to play Pizza Party ::

My girls like to play teams with my husband and I where they put the correct dice on the appropriate topping space. I love that we can have a VERY quick family game before bed (I think it took us less than 10 minutes to play 3 games) but that we all get to participate together.
I love how the number of ingredients vary from card to card as does the variety (for example an entire card that needs 5 anchovies versus a single mushroom on another card). If you want to add more players just add more sets and everyone can still play against each other to be the first with a whole “pizza”!
Pizza Party is a fun and easy game that I think is perfect for parties, family game nights, or tucking into your limited packing space on vacations.
