Pregnancy can bring on so many changes throughout the weeks you carry your precious little one! I really can’t complain about my pregnancies, because even though I have had the occasional ailment, overall everything has been great. Nausea, morning sickness, achiness, stretch marks, and more are common issues that expecting mommas can expect to deal with at some point! There are many products and ideas to try to deal with all of these things!
Matraea, a company from Canada that specializes in products for pregnancy, baby, and birth, carries products like teas, creams, and more to help support moms and their new little ones. I had the opportunity to try out both the belly butter and the ginger mint tea. Both products were wonderful, and I am confident the rest of the products are of the same quality. As my belly continues to grow and stretch, I’ve been using various creams hoping to keep stretch marks to a minimum and to keep my skin smooth and soft. The belly butter from Matraea has done just that! It has a light citrus scent that isn’t overpowering, and makes my skin feel amazing! I love that it goes on easy and doesn’t leave a greasy feel behind. It’s been the perfect cream for my growing belly! Matraea carries several different kinds of teas for different things mommas face through pregnancy. One of the most common complaints in pregnancy is nausea, and the ginger mint tea is designed to fight that morning sickness. Both ginger and mint carry properties that naturally help settle the stomach and can even help with heartburn, another thing occasionally creeping up on me this pregnancy. I myself am not a huge tea drinker, but as I shared the tea with others as well, and they said the blend of the two flavors is delicious. It’s the perfect drink for morning time when nausea begins or even in the evening when heartburn comes or it’s just hard to get settled to sleep. All the teas they carry are certified organic, caffeine free, and good for mommas!
I love that I found another company out there to support moms through pregnancy, birth, nursing, and beyond with natural products to help keep moms as comfortable as can be during a time where changes are happening all over!

September 2, 2015 at 7:56 pmI’ve heard mint was good for upset stomachs, but never ginger before. Sounds like a great tea to have on hand.
