Last week my son had surgery on his leg and isn’t able to take baths for several weeks. He is, however, allowed to shower. The only problem is that most of my kids hate showers. (They like to dance in the rain though. I never promised they made sense!) The day he came home from the hospital there was a package on our front porch – a new Rejuvenator Microbubble Handheld Shower Head! I opened up the package and, after reading the simple but detailed instructions, I was pretty sure I could install it by myself. One problem: I couldn’t get the old shower head off! So I called my handyman (a.k.a. Daddy to me, Pops to my kids) and he came over to help me out. Once the old showerhead was off, the new one was easy-peasy to install.
Things I love about the Rejuvenator:
- It was really simple to install.
- They even include a little bit of plumbing tape to make sure that you don’t have any leaks!
- You can attach it and use it as a regular showerhead or you can slide it out of the holder and get the water where you need it. That was super helpful when my kiddo didn’t want water in his face!
- You can use one switch to choose if you want water to come from the Rejuvenator, your old showerhead, or both.
- Even with my super-thick hair, the water quickly and easily soaked all of my hair, something that isn’t true for all (or even most!) showerheads that I’ve used before.
- It really does feel like you’re at a spa! The water feels like it’s giving your skin a mini-massage with every single bubble.
I can’t really explain that last one. (Take a second and click over to this video for more details on how it works). But I can tell you that my daughter – who had never seen the package or any marketing about it – wanted to try it on just her hand before she committed to a full-body shower and she said, “It makes my skin feel all bubbly and happy!” Bubbles always make everything better, don’t they?

June 22, 2014 at 8:07 amI have fibromyalgia and am extremely sensitive to anything that touches my skin. The shower head in my guest bathroom, which I sometimes use to shower so I don’t disturb my husband (he works nights and you have to walk through our bedroom to get to the master bathroom) feels like needles piercing me as I bathe quickly. I’ve been wanting to replace it, but wasn’t sure which shower head to buy, as even the one in the master bath isn’t ideal. Well, I think you just introduced me to my next shower head. Thank you.
