Who doesn’t enjoy relaxing in a hammock? Personally I don’t believe that I have ever met a person who didn’t enjoy the gentle swaying of a hammock on a warm sunny day. Sadly, not everywhere you go has a hammock and carrying along a hammock of your own isn’t exactly practical… Well, unless of course you have a hammock from Eagles Nest Outfitters Inc. (ENO).

My family is VERY excited about all the adventures we will be having this summer with our new DoubleNest Hammock from ENO. The DoubleNest Hammock is made of a breathable and quick drying nylon that is both heavy duty and lightweight. Heavy duty in that it can hold up to 400 lbs. and lightweight in that it packs up into the attached compression sack and weighs in at only 20 oz! With the aluminum wiregate carabiners and triple stitched seams, I feel very comfortable having both my girls and I all piled into the hammock relaxing at once.

Even after adding in the 11 oz. in weight for our Atlas Hammock Suspension System, the carrying weight of the DoubleNest Hammock and Atlas Hammock Suspension System seems like nothing to this momma who is used to toting around children and all their gear. Both of these products are recommended for best use as “family/car camping and backpacking” and are perfect fits for our expected adventures this summer (and beyond!). Hiking day trips, visits to the cottage and beach, or just hanging around in the yard – the DoubleNest will be fun to have along.

So far our adventures have included a trip out back to the kids’ newly redesigned playground it the backyard. It didn’t take me long to come up with the idea of hanging our DoubleNest Hammock from between some of the support pillars. In about 3 minutes I had completely set up the perfect seat to hang out while watching the kids play. As the girls were running, sliding, and swinging I got to sit back and relax with the gentle swaying of my ENO hammock. It. Was. Blissful.
