Well, grilling season is finally here! For us, even if we aren’t grilling we are eating outside. That means disposable plates, cups, and utensils get used a lot more frequently! I love nights where we eat outside and stay outside until it’s just about dark. It is our first spring that our little one is getting around, and he’s loving days and nights outside too!
I love the convenience of disposable dinnerware, but don’t like the thought of throwing all that paper/plastic away. Repurpose Tableware has made the answer to “paper or plastic?” easy. “Neither” is the answer they believe in. Their line of reusable plates, cups, bowls, and utensils are made from corn, sugar, and bamboo, making them much better for the environment. Not only are they made from renewable resources, they also are BPA-free, chlorine-free, and petroleum free.
I’ve loved all the products I have used so far, but my favorite has been the hot cups with lids. It seems every day this week we’ve been on the go from early in the morning. This means my morning cup of coffee has traveled with me. I have been taking it in the Repurpose hot cup, which does not need to be doubled up or carried with a sleeve on the outside! A great product to have on hand when you are going to be out and about!
I have used some disposable tableware that cannot hold food with much moisture without the plates falling apart or at least bending. The plates and bowls from Repurpose are sturdy and hold up to a variety of food! It’s good to be eating outside again with food off the grill, and it’s even better to be able to stay outside and enjoy the sunlight without having to come in every night to clean up a ton of dishes! I am also looking forward to picnic lunches at the park with friends and weekend picnics by the water! Thankful for a high quality product to take with us that’s not harsh on the environment!
