If you know American Girl dolls, you full well know that Saige was 2013’s American Girl “Girl of the Year” doll. She is gone as of December 31, 2013. And in some places, she is gone already. They are here for only a short time, a year. However, I have exciting news for you all! 2014’s Girl of the Year is being announced SO soon!! Here are some details I had to share with you all.
If you have DVR or watch TV in the morning, you have to check out Good Morning America on December 31st. Check your local listings to see when it airs, but for us on Eastern Standard Time, it’s from 7-9:00 am. You will get a first look – and you will be one of the many to see it first! 🙂
Another fun thing that American Girl is doing can be found on their website. Each day over the past few days, they have been sharing videos, releasing one a day. The first is from a friend of the Girl of the Year, and there are 5 more. I have been sharing these videos with my daughter daily. It’s been really fun!!
I hope you tune in to see this first hand or stay tuned to the American Girl website too. Heck, why not both! It’s super fun to do with your kids. 🙂 Mine are really enjoying the hype around who the Girl of the Year will be!
