I had a glider rocker for my other girls. Since I thought we were “most likely” done, I added that glider to a garage sale we had one year, shortly after we moved in to our new home. When we found out we were expecting, I went through what I still had and made a list of the top things that I knew I would definitely have to purchase again. A glider rocker was in that top 5. I don’t know about you, but the late night feedings are hard enough, but when you don’t have somewhere comfortable or safe to sit, it makes it even worse. My glider rocker becomes my favorite piece of furniture when I have a little nursling 🙂 I have my exact set-up in the room and if anything gets moved, I’ll be the first to tell you.
Here is my #1 concern with this new glider. It’s BEYOND comfortable and worth every. single. penny that it’s listed for. I am afraid I’m going to take up residence in the baby’s room once she is born. I mean, why not? I figure I’ll be up a couple times a night in the first few weeks. Why travel all around the house when I have a comfortable seat right next to her!!
Let’s talk on the construction for a moment. If you have been reading my posts, you know my husband does the assembly in our home. This time, I was able to be in the same room with him and we could have a conversation. THAT means the set-up was easy! It took a bit of time, but once it was together, there weren’t any tweaks we had to do!

What a perfect site to visit when shopping either for yourself, or a family member or friend at a distance! Their shipping is top notch as well, as I have shipped some items to a friend who doesn’t live close.

- A Crib
- Maternity Clothes – HUGE selection in stores AND online. The styles are not frumpy and non-fashionable either. Just last week I went to Kohl’s and picked out TWO complete outfits for an upcoming trip to Las Vegas. So you know they have to be trendy if I’ll be wearing them in Vegas!! 🙂
- Newborn Clothing. Can we just say cute? 🙂
And…a Keurig. Yup…a coffee maker, because Momma needs to get her drinks and have a variety of options to choose from since I won’t be leaving my home very much with a newborn…and three other little ladies…in the snow…in January! Give me options!! 🙂 {Side note, if you are looking for a Keurig, Kohl’s has the Keurig K65 Special Edition the cheapest I have found!!}
