Anyway, this past weekend was my daughter’s birthday and I wanted to get her something special that she’d love. I went straight to eeBoo. I knew they’d have something perfect for her. Since we’re still playing the games I reviewed last time, I decided to scroll through and look at the arts and crafts items.
My girl loves to paint and draw and create, so I decided to get a sketchbook and a few things to go with it. The eeBoo sketch books are 8.5″ x 11″ spiral top-bound books with 60 pages of nice, thick, smooth paper.
She’s already started drawing with her colored pencils. These are no ordinary colored pencils. They have an incredibly smooth, rich color – especially when you draw on the sketchbook paper. These pencils are sturdy and easy to sharpen, but they don’t wear down quickly. Plus? Look at them! They’re so pretty!
But the thing that she and I are both most excited about are the oil pastels. She’s never worked with them before and it’s been ages since I have. So we’ll be using them this week during home school art! I found a really great video tutorial showing how to use them and even has a downloadable practice sheet._
Keep an eye on our instagram feed this week and I’ll try to post a picture of our oil pastel art creation! You can also go to eeBoo’s Arts & Crafts section to see their other great art supplies. They have some really cool creative kits that you can use to make necklaces and flowers and DIY felt animal toys.
