As you might have guess by now, I am a little bit of a book worm. There is just something satisfying about climbing into bed at the end of the day and snuggling up with a good book. My personal favorite genre is always historical fiction. I love reading about days gone by, where people worked hard and spent time together uninhibited by technology.

She Shall be Praised by Ginny Aiken was definitely one of the books I cozied up with at night. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely did not lull me to sleep! In fact, I had a hard time putting it down at night. I was always eager to see what happened next.

When socialite Emma Crowell stops the carriage on the way to Portland to ‘exercise’ her new puppy, the last thing she expects is to be left behind in decidedly unsuitable attire, let alone kidnapped.
