Snow? Already? I can hardly believe it is that time of the year again!
Since most of my life has been consumed with baby things this past year, I thought I would share a throwback photo from last winter. During the first snow, Max and I went out for a walk (well… Max was running more like a freight train with his nose low to the ground).
I love watching him when he still acts like a puppy, EVEN when I hear him running through the house because I know he just stole a pair of daddy’s socks out of the closet! haha…
I can not tell you how much I love this dog! The phrase “man’s best friend” just doesn’t do him justice! He thinks he is a human, and I really think he might be at heart! He loves to snuggle, sit on my lap (yes… he’s 85 pounds!), and go anywhere we go. He listens better than most humans, and puts his head in my lap when he’s trying to comfort me.
He was my first baby, and we still call him “Big Brother.” He will always have a special place in my heart!

December 1, 2013 at 7:00 amThat is an absolutely beautiful photo! It is amazing how quickly pets can completely take over our heart and become such irreplaceable parts of our families. I have five cats and they each hold an exceptionally dear place in my heart. Life would never be the same without them.

November 30, 2013 at 7:12 pmI have two rescue pups and on looks very similar to your little four legged rug rat! I love them so much and I know I don’t take enough pics of them. You’ve inspired me to make sure I take more pics of them. Thank you! =)

December 14, 2013 at 9:10 pmBefore our son came along, he was my fur “baby”… hence LOTS of pictures of him! It’s actually funny because he now knows that when I get the tripod out to sit still and he’ll get a treat afterwards 🙂
