A few years ago the kids and I started making bucket lists for summer vacation. After we’d checked the last thing off of the summer one, they wanted to make a fall one but by that point I was bucket-listed-out. Because my kids are so much like me, if they have a list they think you have to check off every.single.thing. But the constant stress of knowing we weren’t checking things off quickly enough ended up sucking all of the fun out of the lists for me. So we skipped doing a bucket list that fall and instead started a Winter Wish List. We listed things that we’d like to do but didn’t have to do. If we got it done, great! If not, that’s okay too. (Which was good because one of the things my children listed was make a real igloo, which is pretty difficult to accomplish down here in the south…even in the winter).
This is our 2014 Spring Wish List – full of some of our favorite activities we’ve done before and a few new things. Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy some of these activities as well! Feel free to print this one off or make your own! What kind of fun spring things do you do with your family? We always love new ideas to add for next year!

March 29, 2014 at 10:57 pmThese are great ideas! We’ve all been a bit under the weather this spring break, but we did make it to both Disney on Ice and a local adventure park. One of the highlights were going to the library though, we do not go often, but when we do it is a special treat for the kids and they appreciate it more.

March 29, 2014 at 10:22 pmThis is such a cute idea! I love the thought of brainstorming with the family. I also tend to get stuck in a cold-weather rut around February and March… it would be great to have a list like this to keep me motivated to try new things and get outdoors before summer arrives. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
