I had my daughter read over the ingredient to gather everything we would need to make the Relaxing Textured Massage Bar. Once we had gathered all the ingredients we began making the massage bar. Remember everything you need comes in your monthly subscription box so you don’t have to run to the store to get anything.
This recipe called for Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Myrrh Essential Oil, Ravensara Essential Oil, Tapioca Pearls and a Soap Mold. The only things I needed from my kitchen were the measuring spoons, a boiler {double boiler if you have one} and a Mason Jar. I allowed my daughter to make this recipe all by herself with my supervision.
I’m not sure who had more fun, but once we finished one recipe she wanted to do another. The Relaxing Textured Massage Bar was the last recipe we made and she lost interest waiting for the beeswax to cool in the soap mold.
I am very grateful I have one child that enjoys cooking. Every child needs to learn how to read a recipe and see it through to the end. It was a great science lesson as well seeing a solid turn to a liquid and back to a solid.
